Visiting

Daddy brought me back for another visit today. There seems to be alot of fuss because I am not healthy. mommy keeps saying that I have lost too much weight and that I look horrible. Mommy and daddy seem to be mad about that. well, I dont eat because I dont like the food they give me at the centre. They give me some bones and raw meat that hurt my tummy. They say I am "skin and bone". I just want some peace, and a soft place to lay down. I dont have the energy to walk. I still dont know why I am here, and why Noel didnt come back for me. I didnt like where I lived much before this anyway. It was cold there too. I have heard people call that place a junk yard. I did have a job there and it was to keep people from jumping over the gates to steal things. I didnt like that job much, I was alone all the time.

Our second visit went really well. This time they took off the leash and let me wander around by myself. That little Murph is a pain though, she doesnt let me go anywhere, jumping up and nipping me in the face. She told me" listen here, whatever you are, this is MY house, MY bed, and MY mommy. You can stay, but stay out of my way!" I wanted to stay so I asked her" cant we be friends?" she replied, " what are you anyways?, you dont look like any other other dog I know."

" I am an English Mastiff, a born warrior, king of all the dogs"

she replied" we should get along then, as I am the queen" " queen of the world...."

" oh brother" I thought, another wanna bee..

This visit went well. I was sad to go back to that place. They have been been putting the muzzle on me more and more these days as I am frusterated and whine alot.

I heard that mommy and daddy are mad about this saying that it is not necessary.

I overheard them saying I was going to go back to their house for a "overnight" visit.

I hope that meant that I was going for a car ride! Once again as hoped for, daddy came and took me for a car ride to his house. I was so excited to see everyone!

Mommy and daddy fed me some food and I liked it. I ate, I went for a walk, and then I curled up on this big fluffy pillow daddy said he bought for me. It was soft, warm, and I couldnt keep my eyes open anymore.

When I woke up, it was sunny again, and I realized that I had spent the night! I had also slept the entire night. I had a good breakfast, and then daddy took me for another walk. He says hes so proud of me, I love to walk with him, and I am carefull not to pull him.

Then, yes then he put me back in the car and took me back. when we arrived at the centre, I didnt want to go in. I tried to tell daddy, by pulling backwards, but he told me I had to go back.

I was mad! after we were inside, mommy was there. She was working with the other dogs, and I was not happy about that. what if one of them hurt her? I couldnt protect her, I was in the pen and she was surrounded with all those knuckleheads! I then realized that I loved mommy and daddy. I knew they loved me too, I could feel it.

At the end of that day, something wonderful happened! That lady I never see came to the big iron gate, and called my name!!! she said " can I have Guy please!", Hey, that's me! I was up and ready for daddy to take me home. Mommy had her coat on and daddy came and took me out of the pen for the last time.

I went home with them that night, and I have never gone back. My new life has begun.
